"In Australia un gruppo di ricercatori del Royal Perth Hospital, definito "The Perth Group", ha concentrato le proprie ricerche sull'isolamento dell' HIV e sulla validità dei test ELISA (test di primo livello, il più utilizzato), Western Blot (secondo livello, considerato più attendibile) e Viral Load (l'ultimo apparso); hanno concluso le loro ricerche affermando che nessuno dei lavori pubblicati dimostra che l'HIV sia stato isolato e che i tre test non provano affatto la presenza del virus HIV nei campioni di sangue sottoposti a test" .
